The AAT level 3 accounting course, also known as Advanced Diploma in Accounting, is an intermediate-level accounting course. This course will prepare you to undertake more complex financial processing, including advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, costing, indirect tax, spreadsheets and professional ethics. This is the perfect course for you if you are interested in an accounting and finance career. This course is ideal in gaining the required knowledge and skills if you want to go on to become a fully qualified accountant.
It is a natural progression route for those who have completed level 2 bookkeeping or accounting qualification and or have previous experience in accountancy.

Achieve professional AAT Bookkeeper status (AATQB)
After successful completion of this qualification, you can apply for AAT associate bookkeeping membership and achieve a Qualified Bookkeeper (AATQB) status.

Advanced Diploma Synoptic Assessment – this qualification will include an integrated assessment in which you will be asked to apply knowledge and skills gained from the entire units, within a workplace context.
Assessment: there will be total 6 assessments – 5 each and 1 synoptic
Entry criteria: AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent or experience. For the best chance to succeed we recommend a standard and good level of Maths and English.
