CIMA Management Level

Course Overview
The Strategic Level focuses on applying finance expertise in a strategic business context. You’ll learn how to influence organisational direction, manage risk, and shape strategy using financial and non-financial insights.

this course will prepare you for the Strategic Level exams and the Strategic Case Study. On successful completion, you’ll be one step closer to full CIMA membership and the globally recognised Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA®) designation.

The content reflects real-world challenges faced by senior finance professionals, including:

Strategic analysis and leadership

Successful completion awards the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Strategic Management Accounting (Adv Dip SMA) and is the final step before qualifying for CIMA membership

The case study is designed to bring together the knowledge learnt at the objective test levels. The case study exam is tested using core syllabus areas designed to reflect the deaily tasks expected of a finance professional at the relevant exam level.

The CIMA Strategic Level course and each of its above-mentioned units are assessed in computer-based exams(CBEs). The first three units: E3, P3 and F3 are on-demand, meaning you can take it whenever you are ready. Each on-demand CBE is 90 minutes. However, the case study is conducted across four windows: February, May, August, and November.
