Course duration:

The duration of the course can range from 9 to 12 months depending on your methods of study – full or part time. We offer evening sessions (2 hours each) and day sessions (5 hours each) including weekends. The teaching hours do not include the final assessment.

Entry Criteria:

You can join this course, if you have achieved CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting or AAT Technician/Diploma Level (Level 4). This course is ideal if you are leaving school or college, returning to work or simply want to change your career.

Assessment:

Each unit is assessed by the objective test, which focuses on one CIMA hierarchy of verbs. You are expected to be tested on knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis and evaluation of the subject matter. The results are available immediately after the objective test, which provides candidates with specific feedback.

After completing the objective test, you will be required to sit for the Integrated Case Study (ICS) Exam. The ICS combines knowledge and learning across the three pillars, and is set within a real business context. This helps a candidate to apply the skills and understanding that employers look for. The ICS is a 3 hours long exam. This includes both pre-seen and unseen materials. This incorporates calculations, short answer and essay. The ICS is marked by examiners.

As like objective tests, feedback will be provided to candidates with their results. The ICS windows are offered 4 times a year.

Exemptions:

You may be eligible for an exemption depending on your previous qualifications or relevant work experience. We carry out a pre-enrolment assessment to help you understand the exemptions criteria and recommend a right level of course.
